Self Storage Auctions

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam signed Public Chapter 293 on April 29, 2013. It is an act to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 56, Chapter 6 and Title 66, Chapter 31, relative to the sale of insurance for self storage unit possessions in a storage facility.

The bill goes into effect today, July 1, 2013.

There are several interesting changes that were made and it would be in the best interest of the storage auction locker buyer to review this bill if you purchase lockers in the state of Tennessee.
